FIRST MAKE OF 2025
My first completed make of 2025 features the Chandler Fanny Pack pattern by the talented Nikki Brooks from @Beautejadore.
2 Bags, 1 Pattern
I made two fanny packs, exteriors from a red leather from Auburn Fabric Outlet and up-cycled animal print car seat covers. Both fanny packs are lined with 100% cotton animal print fat quarters from Walmart.
Strapped
The read leather fanny pack uses pre-made webbing purchased from Amazon. I got more creative with the animal print car seat cover bag, creating an adjustable stap from the same fabric. The hardware is from Amazon.
I had so much fun making this bag, it has offically turned me into a sewing #baggirlie. I used keychains and jewelry I already had to make the zipper accessories. This is a wonderful scrap buster and would make easy and fun gifts for friends and loved ones. I already have yet another one cut out and ready to sew.
